Due to complete non-toxicity of titanium dioxide pigments, in majority of cases there is no need and necessity to apply for attestations or certificates allowing for their application to particular purposes or confirming their quality.

Only in cases of certain specific applications (e.g. products exposed to contact with food, pharmaceuticals or food products) it is recommended to have permit for applying or appropriate certificate. In other cases pigment manufacturer’s declaration on meeting particular requirements is sufficient.

TYTANPOL® titanium dioxide manufactured by Grupa Azoty Zakłady Chemiczne “POLICE” SA meets the European Union requirements concerning both the technology and the purity of product. Moreover, it meets the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) requirements. The confirmation of purity of our pigments is the Cerificate of Health Quality of the Polish National Institute of Hygiene for applying them to products having contact with food, and the obtained certificates
